Race of Life

Life is like a race,
with its twists and turns.
You are expected to crash,
and you have to ask yourself,
"Will I keep racing, or will I leave?"

Life is like a race,
bringing sadness and disgrace.
Sometimes when you race,
you will ask yourself,
"Will I try my best, or give no effort?"

Life is like a race,
giving good and bad times.
You win some and lose some,
but you will ask yourself,
"Was it worth my time, or a waste?"

Life is like a race,
and one thing will always be true,
The race will always go on, with or without you.
