Raging Silence

He stole her innocence
Making her relive in his vileness

She would never find a release
Keeping her from ever reaching peace

With liquid and pills she would smother
She would never trust another

With her fading bright flame
She would never be the same

Her thoughts would betray her
How they would  always recur

Waiting for her thoughts to take shape
Knowing this pain she would never escape

Always conflicting her reality and mind
All through her existence she became so blind

With her increasing doubt
She began to close everyone out

Losing herself and her heart
God sent his hand to help her part

To show her, she’s breathtaking in every way
God tells her, Connie you’ve earned your stay

So, come join me in this glorious place
Your family is waiting for your warm embrace

Walk with me child as I restore your soul
When we arrive to heaven, I promise you’ll be whole
