if the world is against you

there’s always something dragging me down
and i can’t handle the mess going on,
but for now, just believe me, i know:
you’re the thing which is worth waiting for.
and back then i remember no ground,
we are floating above the sky,
nothing’s holding me back, spin around,
just to see it over in line.
i’m recalling these moments, so precious,
now i can’t stay here without you,
have i found part of me in someone?
can i let you to pass me through?
i’m tied up, i can’t go, let me make sure
can i count on the fact this is real?
all these thoughts are just so suffocating,
all i want is to know you won’t leave.

‘cause for me it’s incredibly hard to
let someone put me down on my knees,
i’m alone, on my own and no need to
having someone right here with me,
but oh God, here you are, looking at me,
with these eyes when i turn my head right,
our sights cross, and you know, this moment
make me feel sunshine hit through my heart.
when i feel your weight on my shoulder
i know i’m where i’m meant to be,
please, stay here with me forever,
‘cause i caught myself having belief.
even though i’m not kind of person,
who would long for someone like that,
but somehow fate decided to give me a person,
who found way to pierce my cold mind.
i am thankful, i’m grateful, but tell me
should i harness my hopes on this?
i don’t want to collect a thousand pieces of myself who started to live in the dreams.
tell me again, i am young, it’s okay to
taking wrong steps on this beautiful path
can you hear me? i want to be with you
through the rain, through the light, through the dark.

if you wonder, where did it came from
well i tell you, it’s not just things are,
can you recall the words you said then
when i heard you on the very first time?
i believed, i trust you, but now i’m
trying to get my limbs back from these sweet fantasies
of the prospering world i imagined,
while i had you talked in my ears.
will confess, yes, my heart’s so elastic,
if i will keep convincing myself
that these moments you lied in my arms and
i could even hear your heart, its beats,
when your chest pulls me in that it gets hard to breathe, can’t explain, but i’m feeling relieved,
and with you i can lose my sight
but your eyes,
i am paralyzed.

we stay under the rain with no one around
you and me in between the worlds
in this moment, i swear, i trust you
but i’ll keep my feet on the ground.
resist soaring away from horizon that fades
with the feelings that can’t be explained,
but the fact is they’re pure and goddess,
though afraid that’s somehow it’s a shame.
that’s why getting away from everyone,
two of us somewhere so far,
talking all of our sick minds out
helping us to fulfill our hearts.
i know you’ll shed a tear when you’ll tell me your fears and i’ll hold you so tight and say:
„if the world is against you,
both of us are heading against”

i’m not lying, take me apart
with the words on the tip of my tongue
tie a ribbon around my waist,
my hand grabs a barrel of a gun.
i am ready to pull the trigger
my eye sees everyone through the scope
so just tell me and point a finger
if someone needs to be interrupted.

there are so many people and so many tries,
while you didn’t even had to try,
but give me a glance with your hazy eyes
and for now once again,
i am paralyzed.
and i know that i swore to swallow
my desire to fall on my knees in front of you.
here i am, crawling and kissing the sand you stepped on,
bet i’d rather take a bullet for you,
than accepting the world without the muse
that lights up my cold heart and warms up my soul.
