Gone Away

I long for the day
When your name
Relaxes the moment
--a reflective smile
And does not tug
At the heart-knot
Of loss and longing.

About this poem

I wrote this many years ago when I lost someone special. The poem is self-explanatory. (I sent this a few days ago without any contact info!)
