LIBERATED

From south of Salem the Griffin pace
With soothing paws He pats and soothes
His eyes remain a blissful gate
A certain port to lake of bloom

Oh, that one could have some forty winks
Indulge in romance of cat and nap
But constant the rupture of fiery winds
Throw the billows of evil rap

A great menace they throw at him
What is man that thou entrap
Not his time but just a whim?
Will be no more yet fill a gap

But lo the Lion arise and hasten
Apt and swift on eve of sorrow
Repugnant souls amazed and frighten
But under His cover the entangled glow
