The Unknown

I walked down a path of unyielding faith to discover there was an obstacle course.
For every direction i chose to take it was never my very first choice.
Attacked by my decisions i was confused as much as i felt i was at harm.
Unwilling to accept the consequences as my actions held no charm.
I walked down a path of continual pain to discover my hope was undoubtedly gone.
For every idea that crept into my mind it was never really quite my own.
Consumed by hatred in every direction i can see the passion in it, has no end.
I am still searching after so many failed attempts to call someone a friend.
