Mommy do you miss me?

Cynthia novotny 1984 (Wilmington de)

Mommy when I came out
why did you abandoned me?
where were you when I got hurt?
that's right you didn't care at all

why did you not care what they did?
Do you even wonder how I am today?
Do you even miss me at all?
I hope your happy now I'm gone

I wonder what you would of been like
or what my genes are indeed mom
but now I wonder deep inside my head
where do I come from on your side?

Now I have my own kids mom
they are growing up so big
I feel your missing out on so much
you just never will truly understand

In a lot of ways I feel I'm better off
without you here in my life
but the other part of me wonders
will I ever get to see you in person?

But I wanted you to know that I forgive you
I let the pain of my past go years ago
but if you ever wanted to find me
I'm right here waiting for what you have to say,

About this poem

about a past that I wonder about that I still don't know the truth about.
