Eternal Lies

Disillusioned by choice
Desire to forget the unforgettable
Sworn truths and Sworn Lies
Forging and Cutting Ties
Bonds of grand trust formed to last
Fissures between Two formed of the past
Lifelong friendships
Or Lifelong Enemies
Escape, Atonement both seek
A prison of expectation, fools of deception
2 fools of long history
Whatever the case may be
Eternally bonded

About this poem

2 friends/enemies have come to the realization that they were both deceived into becoming enemies. As much they want to forget each other and what they did, they are eternally bonded. Forever connected, whether it be as friends, enemies, or both.
