Scent of an Angel.

When you breathed you smelt my scent
And knew I wasn't there
They smelt different in subtle ways
But it was so so clear

They wasn't you in every sense
It was so hard to bare
I cried more deeply than I ever would
I cried because you wasn't there

Sometimes I find that scent
I find it in the air
I find you my sweet angel
Angel of the air

I know you tried to call me
So I came to share your air
I came with intricacies
Your nose could all but bare

I love you dearest Angel
Angel over there
I love you more than sound itself
Sounds perfect and clear

I love you sweetest human
A human oh so rare
One who found my name
My name from God did tare

You have the heart of God
His sense of you so rare
He knows all your fragrances
So much so that he stares

I smell into his soul
His sent captures my heart
For his sent is my own
Every single part

You lift your nose so sweetly
Like you kiss the air
Did you track me from above
One with flower rare

I followed you sweet Heather
Flower of the moore's
You had bathed in strawberry
But not favourite of yours

What would you have me smell
Angel not of hell
Would that I could hear you
And smell you too, as well

Drown yourself in perfume
Oils of dearest dew
Sprays of many colours
Or smell just like you do
