Now Is The Time

Marian Vest 1944 (Long Island)

Look up my friend for time is coming to an end
When the Lord shall call his children home once again
For the sins of this world are destroying the land
Making it a ugly place to live and death on every hand
This is the time that the bible speaks of at the end
When good is evil and evil is good to some men
When children are so unruly & listen not to anyone
Going out and killing and looting just for fun
Well now is the time to look up to the sky
And pray Dear Lord take us home with you on high
For I don't want to see my country go this way
I would rather be with you than to down here stay....
