Abyss

Ignorance as they say really is just Bliss, trapped inside my mind I call it the abyss, Darkness all around me I want to just let go, but I hold on to something, something I don't know. Happiness and joy thought I'd never find, anxiety a prison incarcerates my mind, depression has a foothold we stand toe to toe,I'll hold on forever I'm never letting go.Voices in my head they never give me rest even if I fail at least it was my best. It happened so quickly when did it gets so dark? don't know how I got here but I nudt I played my part guilt it attacks me never showing Mercy luck a non-factor the devil must have cursed me my heart had to harden solid as a stone pain bites even deeper when you are all alone you're the only reason I can see the light you sat inside the dark with me to get me through the night pain strikes the jugular precision of a dart I could never finish if I don't know where to start should have seen the anguish when I finally see none of this was real the darkness it was me
