Tangled Runaway

Garima 1998 (Itahari)

At the darkest despair
Who do I turn to?
At the weakest moment
Who do I run to?

I got no-one, you see
No-one who understands, anyway
And I got everyone,
Everyone who misunderstands in many way

So I run...

I run from the warmth
I run to the cold
I run from the light
I run to the night.

I run...

I run from the world
I run from people
I run from myself
I run to the shadow

I run...

My world,
My world it's so full
Yet heart wrenching empty
My world it's so cool
Yet laughably diffidently

No more do I wanna fight
No more do I wanna write
Just want an ability to cry
And put it all on the side.

I want that superpower.

With which day passes in an hour
With which world ain't sour
With which misery comes nowhere near
With which fear fears
I want that superpower.

I want that superpower.
