His Disappearing Arms

billyjoe gray 1963 (manchester nh)

It was the worst of times it was the best of times one minute Laugh the next I cry I long fir his arms to wrap around me  , I crave his love unconditionally but as I reach forth he vanishes his arms melt away like hot dripping chocolate that I lick off his fingers.

About this poem

this poem is about desire for love any love and the longing for male companionship , but only to find out that he had slipped away like a thief in the night.
