Light

Salomé Bálsamo 2000 (Buenos Aires)

I buried myself in your love.
Your kiss, so powerful.
Your hands mark the path,
to a land undiscovered,
thirsty for your touch and heart.
And, as the waterfalls quench my desire,
your soul brought color to a world
in absence of light.
My body became the soil and crust deep under.
The earth moved to the pattern of the wind and ocean, you.

This is a poem about the girl of my dreams. This is the first poem I publish, so I am nervous about the feedback. Here to become better at poetry.
