Broken
You broke me
Stole my trust
Fed me fear
Caused a constant pain
A subconscious reminder
To keep looking
Always over my shoulder
It’s ok
Keep silent
BUT I AM STRONG
Strong enough to rebuild
Strong enough to seek help
Help from real love
Real trust, tho it is hard
I’m stronger than the pain you caused
But still always a reminder
I will always look over my shoulder
As the memory will never fade.
Will never go away
But you will not hurt me anymore
You can not control me
This life is mine to live.
And for this pain, hurt, distrust and fear you gave me
From here on you are as you left me
BROKEN
About this poem
I trusted someone and they took advantage of me and created a shadow of fear
