The girl in mask

Lincey Mathew

Fluttering like a butterfly
She possessed the freedom beyond
Those two gems of life
Sparkled alone
Articulating a  thousand
Stories of love and joy
Finally it was lifted
A glimpse of those lily whites
Lifted my hanging heart
The piece of cloth
Held by the ears
Wiped its tears of shame
