car crash

when we met and you fell for me
well you thought it was destiny
now I'm with someone else
and you're still obsessed with me

you're a car crash of a human
I'm intrigued but I should stay away
don't want it to be this way
I never intended to stay

you're a mess
and it's messing with me
you're loving and caring
and it's scaring me

maybe I wanted to see
how life with you could be
a car crash
a wreckage
maybe it's haunting me

but I fell in love with someone else
who doesn't drive
and doesn't want to hurt me

About this poem

I once met someone who reminded me of a car crash, a mess that you can't help but look at. This poem is about him.
