Making Stuff Up

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

The World over,
Time given to many...
To invest it in exploring and learning,
All that is not man made to appreciate.
Many would rather,
Infest their minds making stuff up.
Just for the doing to enjoy,
A getting for themselves...
An attention to have it mentioned,
Their capability to create havoc.
Done to accuse,
Others already victimized.
By skilled and professional liars.
The World over.

And the World over,
With time given many choose to waste.
From one place to another,
They take to bring with them...
Acts of disrespect and dysfunctions.
To do and insist,
These enactments to perform...
Are ways of life that must be enforced.
As a means to normalize,
A craze to accept.
Until everyone conforms.
With no exceptions.

Leaving people the World over,
Supporting and following...
Made up stuff.
Stuff that has left their minds,
Severed, gone and messed up.
As the culprits attempt to defend,
A frauding of corrupted destruction.

However...
And here is the unexplainable conflict.

Either too many,
Have found themselves...
Humbled.
Embarrassed or afraid to admit,
The leader of their pack...
Had never been known to have shown,
Competence with intelligence.
Or common sense to have it.

Although...
A clever deceiver.
With an ability to be believed.
To have no one hear to say,
Being entertained had not disappointed.
That even though those who know,
Their minds...
Have been mentally diseased?
Willing they were to sacrifice their souls!
Just to show and prove a loyalty.
Threatening to ruin,
Not only themselves...
But their families as well.
For the sake of false images to keep!
