The mirror and the future

Why do I look in the mirror,
When my soul is searching for answers,
It reflects me, now, all round and behind,
It doesn't judge nor neither finds.

Guess views are for the outside,
And answers lie in the inside,
The mirror sees no future,
The future hides no mirrors.

You move forward and find your own pace,
Fast forward is the best form of escape,
If the journey has a blurry vision,
And no pilot to ride the mission.

Your journey can be full of mirrors,
That fill your moments like a great singer,
I can touch shattered tears in my mirror,
Let peace calm the pains of broken heart tremors.

The fork in the road has no mirrors,
Answers to be found on the roads of the future.

Gray Zen

Been writing poetry in French and English for some time. Just here to share and learn with this community of writers and poets... my style is inspired by what I live and feel real time and lands on a blank page usually later at night more…
