HOLIDAY AFTER

My head is bursting
My heart is rushing
Can't seem to wait
When can I touch the keys again.

I know I missed the rhymes
Can't tell the time
When can I squeeze in
To write here again.

The long holiday gathered
The rest of the family members together,
Leaving me out of the computer
To jot down the thoughts that linger.

Now that the holiday is over
I can't wait to scribble
A couple or more words that jumbles
In my busy head or fingers.
