I'll Lead The Way

Take my hand,
I'll lead the way,
Tell me all you need to say.

Shout and scream,
And rant and rave,
I won't judge you,
I sometimes do the same.

There will come a time in life,
That it won't really matter,
You'll battle all your demons,
And come out much stronger.

I'll stand by you,
The good and the bad,
Just like a tattoo,
I'll never leave you.

I'll lift your spirits,
When you get low,
And lighten your days,
When you get low.

I'll be your light,
When it gets dark,
I'll take the pain,
When you feel you have to fight.

I'll be your friend,
I promise I'm here,
No matter how far,
I'll always be near.

When you are at your lowest point,
I'll still love you,
And guide you through that hurt and pain,
If you just let me in.

You can trust me I swear,
I'll always be there,
Just hold my hand,
And ill lead the way.

I have made poetry since the age of 13, alot of it, most of it stored on here until it was lost after the website was shut down, I'm hoping to just build it back up, it will be interesting to see how far it goes! more…
