Third World Womyn

Ariel 1967 (California)

I watch the exploitation of the starving
And watch the fat “Johnsons” say
They are the lucky ones;
They are lucky to be alive to feel
The hunger.

Opportunity for them is the slavery of
Cheap labor,
Starving to meet overwhelming quotas today
Ensures a chance to starve tomorrow.

Mountains of pink and green uniforms
To bury their pain and their children.
