Who am I

Free verse
Who am I?

Has anyone actually found themself?
Where do you start?
Up high on a shelf?
By picking people apart?
I have searched my mind for thirty years
And still don’t  know my dreams and fears
Will I ever know which path to take
Before, I fear, it is too late?
