Fly
Fly, then fly, oh soul
Into the vast, starry night
Quickly you slip loose
From earthly anguish
What do your eyes see now then?
Can I imagine?
Can I be happy?
Are you finally at peace
Oh wandering soul?
Do I pray mercy?
Or do I pray for justice?
Am I that bitter?
You finally left
You were a thorn in our sides
And yet a rose too
When I see my faults
I see my need for mercy
I cannot condemn
So fly to heaven
Into light unimagined
Joy, peace and comfort
I remember you
I think of you often still
My little brother
