What You Are To Me

Liz Rodgers 2003 (Minnesota)

You are like the sun, you shine brightly.
You are like the stars twinkling in the night sky.
Every time I hear your sweet, smooth voice I fall in love all over again
You are like the symphony to my melody.
You are so beautiful inside and out
I just wish I could see you
You drive me crazy
When you tease me I feel like a hundred butterflies are flying around inside me
The way you chuckle when I say something dumb
I fell for you the first time I met you
It was like I was dreaming that day
You were there not being mean to me
But you where being a sweetheart like always
So it was like a dream
Because I met someone truly special to me
Someone who makes me feel special
When I am sad
Someone who makes me happy when nothing else could
Someone who makes that little void in me disappear
Someone that I don't think that I could forget even if I wanted to
