Freeze thoughts

Sunrise is too long away
Please see light of this day
Thoughts hurt sometimes
Don’t be afraid

Alone with only screen light
Together we can fight
Hold away the pull of self hate
Let the sunrise calm and sedate

Chorus
Please freeze those thoughts
Say what you say but stamp them away
Please freeze thoughts I pray
Don’t cut your life away

Self hate makes me hide
Slashing away shattered pride
Broken forever by her lies
I will turn and reprise
