Nature's Answer

Michael Matalon 1973 (New York)

What intelligence exists in our genes
that give them orders to build these machines?

What recipe is found within a seed
that brings forth such variety and breed?

What logic dwells within the flowing air
that makes it disperse and spread everywhere?

What is the wisdom that keeps us alive
that consumes energy just to survive?

What thought gave birth to our universe
that Man yearns to understand and traverse?

The puzzle is the answer that we learn
and discover in awe of all we yearn!

About this poem

I have always found that complex answers exist in the most common things...and the universe is not random, but a pattern of clues in the formation of an intelligent universe.
