You know the stakes and I’m well-versed too.
Never ceasing to amaze yet never pulling through.

Leaving you with questions, I struggle to reply.
Things are hard for me, I think you know why.

Not knowing the outcome makes me nauseous.
The writing is on the wall, can’t blame you for being cautious.

I scream out your name, yet cannot be heard.
Feeling are mixed, I’m continuously stirred.

About this poem

I wrote this poem because it seems like, in relationships, timing is everything and I am either too early or too late.
