Drunken Love

I meet her in a park on a cloudy day under a tower clock
She was a happy drunk and I liked her a lot.
She told me her name was Nicky, then Tina
And that she is just una locca Latina.

She sat on the cold bench right next to me
And it felt like this was just meant to be.
I don't remember much of what she said but she was funny
And I believe this day deserves somehow a Grammy.

I remember her eyes they were very greenie
And she looked cold, lost and a little skinny.
I told her that she's drunk and she should go right home
But she said she doesn't like the idea of being alone.

We started walking slowly around the wet park
Talking about crazy things until it went dark
Then her eyes changed from light green to blue
And I really wanted to say, I love you.

But love doesn't happen as easy as this
So I kept my mouth shut, and then came the kiss.
Everything became silent and still for a while.
the clock in the tower started to tick our exile.

I wanted to be her heart running faster
Lost in a ancient galaxy cluster
At the end of horizons or the bottom of oceans
Where the time itself has stopped in its motion.

And then her eyes turned from blue to deep black
And I felt like it was the time to go back.
Along with the clouds in the night off she went
Leaving me alone with my sins to repent.
