Lost The Trust Quill

Once who owned the heart,
Had pierced my love with dart.
I trusted him more than self,
And he focused only on himself.
I praised our love as spiritual,
Which was rhythmic and lyrical.
But, for You everything was a laze,
Which brought a wide gaze.

Your words of seperation had a thrill,
Which turned my hopes into a lost quill.
And trusting turned out as fear,
Which I received from my loving dear;
My feelings for you started to get buried,
Into the grave you dug into hurried.
My affection was pure as Dove,
You never realised my love.

Trust has turned into regret,
And love transformed into threat,
Yes, threat of losing self esteem;
As so far I lived in a false dream,
My spirit had been crushed,
With the pain of shattered trust.
And I my heart won't mend again,
As it broke abruptly into pain.
