LOVE

You come to me in the quiet moments
You fill my heart with joy.
You speak so softly to me
You set my spirit free.
You guide me in good times and in bad
And sometimes you even make me feel sad.
You are my thoughts, my whispering heart
I know now we shall never part.
Some people call you poetry,  I call you love
I feel you in my heart, you come from God above.
I treasure my moments with you
A gift from God,  I know it's true.
If I would ever lose you
I know I would be blue.
So I'll keep my pen in my hand
And you in my heart right to the end.
