Escape

A field of green with one tree in the middle,
And a black and white house in the distance.

One girl sitting with her legs crossed,
Writing poetry underneath the tree.

Just letting her imagination go,
Her mind wander,
And her eyes shut.

To dream of the place she is in,
A peaceful, quiet,
And lonely place.

With no one to bother her,
No one to keep her from dreaming.

For she knows where it is,
And how to get there.
But the one thing stopping her,

Is what she's trying,

To escape.
