Christmas without you

Tonja Ard 1971 (Jonesboro Ark.)

Christmastime is here again
And I feel that I just wont fit in
I have no cheer no smiling face
Just making it through
By gods grace.

No holidays have been the same
Since you've gone
Everything's changed
I struggle with life
Day after day
I try to be strong
But nothing goes my way

I want to scream at the top of lungs
God why my son
He was so young
Sometimes i wonder,what I've done
For god to have taken
My sweet sweet son

I know I shouldn't feel this way
I know exactly what you'd say
Those tears won't bring me back
Dear mom
I know you miss me
But I have gone

I know you wonder where's god's grace
But just remember to keep your faith
I know it's hard but if you do
In the end, I"ll be waiting for you

So give a smile
Or shed a tear
But never forget
I'm always near
