This Life

The Battle
Of life
A cry of contradictions
In grown minds
Of childhood beliefs
Of dreams
And desires
Of aspiration and
Inspiration
Borne from
Misconcepted truths.

This Life
A battle indeed,
Amidst the chaos, materialism
and separation.

There’s a world
And consequently
A universe.

Then there is
The Self.

And only The Self.
