Society's need for change

Things are not as simple as black and white
good and bad
 like and or love
Hate or malice
Internal thoughts twist and turning
Always changing always growing
Developing into a different perspective every second

Someone's perception is different than someone else's

Not many people in today's society have the concept to acknowledge and respect the others thoughts and feelings

Not many have the decency to be kind to someone else's thoughts and feelings without pushing their own agenda on that individual without being asked for their input

Where is the unconditional love, the brotherly love
I love you therefore I respect who you are without pushing my opinions on you

Today it's
I love you therefore what can I get out of this

There is a poem honey and salt
that touches on imitation love
We see it every day more and more in today's society

It's ironic we live in a society that attacks one another yet secretly wants love

Do we know how to be nice respectful kind or loving
Sure, we all have been taught but do we know how
Have we all become numb to others feelings because people don't know how to interact with one another

It's ironic we live in a social media frenzy but do we really know how to respect the socal structure anymore.

I've been writing poetry since I was 13 years old and still dabble when I have the urge I use to have an account on here when I was a teenager more…
