Life’s ballet

Michael A. Brooks 1958 (United States)

Life’s ballet

Life’s ballet, a frolic dance careless and fancy free from the birth of life.  Whose bountiful harmony lives in the pages of scores of symphonies of possibilities. Clap, clap, clap a tone of C major from a baby’s hands that grasps mom’s finger, she sings me a lullaby. Here’s my baby and her heart swells from the hope and love emotional felt gratefulness for this gift of life.  One, two, three the count is on for the digits and toes. No matter, their perfect, this is my baby, my heart, my love, God’s gift and heart cherishes.  Briskly youth passes with challenging boundaries and rebels plunder. I embark on a frontier of my discovery of God prevails. I’m spirit and soul in a fragile spathe body encasement I wonder and lively amazement, I breath. Lord, you’ve heard me from a special place no else can. Loved ones ensuing engagement hearts in twine, we’ll always be no matter what comes our way, I rely.

Life’s ballet, a prance through the highs and lows of life. Slap, Slap. Slap I’m in the groove with the Lord I’m your clay, you know your purpose for me and how I’m made, smooth here, hard there you fashioned me. In a world of awe somehow, I’m more satisfied before you and your Word. I hear your Words, and as I say nothing, I’m more in awe of you as I lay in my bed in your arms. What splendor you have in store. I’ve seen glimpses of your beauty.  You see my spirit dance like the lilies in fields on a thousand hills. In my heart I look to you for my strength a fortress unyielding. You are my life I soar in you like notes of orchestra’s composition from the wind, string, brass and percussion instruments ensemble I rise. Here’s my sonnet, my peace in you I rest.

Life’s ballet, a boisterous scherzo. I go forth to and fro, why me, why now, how come, over and over in my mind, what else my bellowing heart sighs. Snap, snap, snap the pages of my bible crinkles by. Seeking the rhythm of the rhyme like a heart out of step at least with blind eyes I see. It’s all about Him. I will be the best me, no matter where I’m at or whatever I do, or not do. I am in you and you are in me. Harmony is in all of us as one body flowing in sync with each other the Ying and the Yang I beheld.

Life’s ballet, a rollicking finale. Rap, rap, rap, as the story is told through lyrical fancify pose of the life story of many libraries will fill. Where does the tempo fly, who knew being swept away in the song of life could be so entrenching? With eyes wide open I really see who I am in you and I desire for more of you Lord. A mind of understanding, a heart always to please you. I’m here with you my love, my father, my mother, brother and my sister too. Though I may be near or far, I’m just a thought away, we’re all playing our own symphony one measure by measure, note by note. Today is not an end as the conductor button sways its decrescendo looms. It’s a beginning of a new song blooming and sung in cathedrals of God, angel sings. We’ll all hear our collective symphonies as one when the heavenly curtains are drawn back. All praise will be exalted to God, where I will await.
