Signs

George F Joly 1944 (Providence)

I was born a trucking man
I ride from sea to sea
And the signs along  the highway
 Are my only company
Some men were born to settle down
 And raise a family
But I was born a trucking man
That life is not for me
I was born behind the wheel
Now it's just big Mac and me
And the signs along the highway
 That keep me company
