Too young to go

I sit here and think of so many things what could be done what could I change.
I sit here as tears begin to fall wanting to hold you and save you from it all
I sit here  alone with my eyes closed tight and my heart in pain into the night.
I sit here just waiting in hopes not to cry as I never got to say goodbye.
I sit here and I wonder why you were taken so young.
... But as I sit here I know God brought you home.
