I met you over a decade ago,
Yet my feelings for you continue to grow!
Even though we do not speak
I think of you every day of the week!
I don't even know if you remember me
For throughout life there is no guarantee...
I wish I could get to know you
as the conversation would make it complete-
For you are the one who brought the poetry out of me!
Seeing your face would make me smile,
Even if it is was only for a little while.
Oh how I wish you did not have to go
Because I will miss you so!
