Passions Seed

Make me a grateful heart
ingrained with passions seed
for budding life, His greatest art,
Tis Sonshine we have need.

This pulling down by gravity,
wears heavy on our frame,
It's aim to keep from heavenly,
From soothing beams estranged.

Ungratefulness, it's rotten fruit
wilts deep into the mire,
to make all souls destitute
of what real life requires.

To push against futility,
it's heaviness to earth is bound,
but looking UP reality
to life and love profound.

The warmth of Sonshine's healing rays,
fills hearts with thankfulness
and voices sing abounding praise
to One, we live to bless!
