The Death

Bryson Bean 2003 (Alabama)

[An exerpt from the overdose chronicles]

Once I woke up purging
Choking
Blood from my nose
Everything was cold like death
Death i was soon
To be experiencing
But not to my surprise
Only fearful anger
I knew it was coming
All too well
I knew what was coming
Though I wanted to die
But was not prepared to like this
And not willingly so
I closed my eyes
Never to re open them
A teary final goodnight
And on my last day
Black clouds in the sky
For the next two weeks
No one would find me
No one to hear my
Gurgling goodbye
