Attempting to persuade me,
With a jawboning to go on...
Kept to prolong.
That playback on me to use,
Has long gone.
Too many blocks I have been around.
To find such attempts unconvincing.

Yet...
There they come uninvited to arrive.
Those jawboner owners,
Seek to chew on potential and fresh...
Mental real-estate to bait.
Without hesitating to contemplate,
One's bark and bite.
Capable with experience to deliver.

Huffing to whip up wolf tickets to sell.
I don't buy.
Nor am I sold on a strutting puffer,
Claiming an authority over me to try.

I have paid my dues to do,
As I please and choose.
I have paid my dues to choose,
Who I refuse to listen to.
And no jawboner will leave me,
Flapping lips to think me whipped.
I'm not one that's into it.
