Yesterday

joanna scott 1967 (Birmingham)

Yesterday I was troubled
then I woke up today
I worried for nothing
so many will say

I am my own leader
so I can choose
do I sit and be unhappy
or do I fight with nothing to loose

I choose to carry on
I know of my dreams
I will fix my broken picture
as I glue it at the seams

About this poem

I was reflecting on how bad each day could be to find the next day can be better
