A new region

Free verse
Within a world of no definitives,
The mercurial souls float along like sailboats.
Disembodied voices sing lullabies
To the children of this new timeless region.
They shall never age,
Only growing younger with each cup of song.

About this poem

Originally written with not underlying motive, but could be interpreted as a description of the souls journey, from this life to the next.
