In The Forbidden Exile
Departing her I understood that
I fled in fear of death.
The path which I followed to flee
Repeatedly rebuked me.
It said, "Go back."
Then only one and a half word inside me,
Creating the waves of resentment,
Resonated thousand crore times -
"Go back, go back, go back."
When my sense returned,
I changed my mind to return there
And in the belief of going back
I looked at you.
An invisible force
Brought my sight back to me.
Looking at the sky I rang it
But the sky refused me to receive my call.
It didn't pick up the telephone with my message.
Won't the atonement
For my unintentional mistake
Buried through only death
Or it has to be carried in the rest of my life?
I didn't understand
Why I was trying to escape.
Since the time of escape
I have been walking path in the forbidden exile.
Though I have not given a house for living,
I say, "May the world be victorious.
Those of you who do not keep in touch with me
Live long!"
