Lines

Jabulani Mhlaoli 1998 (Sebokeng)

I'm steadily losing sight
of myself -
I mean

to give me their ears
and not have me swallowed
between the lines -
If you were to read
between the lines;
surely you'd find me,
stuck between the chaos
of my own thoughts;
shouting for help -:

About this poem
