Cautious Observation

Kristina Sickles 1988 (United States)

You think that you can own me, Conspire plots and plans against me,

That I'm so insignificant, defenseless and small,
That you simply can condense me...

Well, dear, I hate to break the news,
But you and your played out peons are immeasurably confused

"Hello! Nice to meet you! Can we be friends though?!"
Greatest love, truest friend or endless nightmare; deadliest foe.

About this poem

I hate and love all, to a very calculated degree. It's a constant dance of attempting to maintain a balance.
