Lost

When your lost, follow your stars
In the blink of an eye... caught off guard
There'll always be days considered hard
So what happened? Your glass shattered to shards.

Once beautiful as the morning sun
But days of late gloom as you run
The spirals of life have never begun
They've always been there.. it's your head that's spun.

See it for what it is... the presumptions soar
Reluctant to be public about your inner scores
You can keep tally or wash your shores
By days end, the choice is yours.

Wish you'd wake up from nightmare tales
You write them yourself as you set sails
Go where winds blow unknown, so pale
Dramas a trauma... recoveries ail.

Pace it. Your racin'. Face it. You hate it.
Why wake to repetitive placement
In case your encased decline to chase it
Take a step back. View within patience

Point all the fingers and place all the blame
Not the best road.. why stroll in this lane?
Somehow on your way you up and changed
While all your wishes washed away
We watched and prayed you'd find your way
Bewitched, betrayed, it's all the same
