Escape!!!

I escape from the real world to my book
Find them reassuring , sitting by a brook

Into the infinite lands of the fantasy world
Where there is solace, sit with legs curled

Where there are no lies, only the truth
Nobody ever fights, nail and tooth

Away from the hustle-bustle - it's peace
The reality of the materialistic world cease

For a mind boggling me, it's a recluse
The pain felt by the heart is not so acute

Distant from all the fake, disloyal and selfish
Avoiding tthe self- centered and boorish

Feel like never returning to the real world
In the virtual world, it's bliss that is swirled

Pondered- for me is there a real escape?
In the real world never to be back and awake?

Conditioning, upbringing could I escape?
To escape from oneself would be an amaze
