Shame

The cubicle of the modern age!
You can sit in it for days!
If you fill it to the brim with standing rage,
There's no room for fear as your thoughts decay.
...

You're in control.
You know it's true.
You better be, or they'll come for you.
They'll tear it down.
They'll pull you out.
You have no voice.
No need to shout.
Fall in line! Obey your hate!
Roar until you suffocate!
....

I miss my mom.
I miss my dad.
The siblings I loved, and the moments I had–

I can still see them through the slots in my eyes.
